Excerpt from the article:(Title and excerpt have been translated) Conversely, it is unfortunate that Taiwanese youths no longer care about the 228 massacre. What is the "White Terror Era"? They don’t care. Taiwanese youths are in general unenthusiastic about politics or social justice; this phenomenon is deeply rooted in the way the ruling government set forth its policies over the past century. Imagine, how horrifying would it be if the stories of massacre are erased from Taiwanese history, and therefore the younger generation lacks lessons from the past, and hence repeat the same horrifying mistakes?
